2023-2024 Production Season
There are plenty of polkas, pierogies, and dog poo as we follow grumpy grannies Lottie and Bernice on new adventures in this side-splitting sequel to "Regrets Only!" and "Get Off My Cabbage!" After tackling a bank robber, the ladies heckle mall-goers, steal Lottie’s pearls off a corpse, sell illicit pierogies, hitchhike a lonely stretch of highway, and attend a court-appointed anger management class. In a series of flashbacks, we see Lottie and Bernice as babies, as kids selling lemonade, and at a school dance...and they’re just as cantankerous! The infamous lunch-eating duo, Hal and Sal, are now working at a cemetery and discuss the merits of canned meat, marriage counseling, and public toilets. The laughs never end in this uproarious show! In this sequel to Murder by Farce, the usual suspects are now on trial for the “murder” of reclusive billionaire Tony Franstein. But just when the Butler admits to killing Tony Franstein, the judge reveals himself to be none other than Tony Franstein!
This time, instead of solving Tony’s “murder,” the suspects must kill Tony in order to get his estate. Arriving at Tony’s mansion eager to “cook his goose,” the group quickly realizes that no one thought to bring a murder weapon, so they scramble about collecting “weapons” including a couch pillow, a shoe, a candle, a squirt gun, a picture frame, and a pencil. To help them out, Tony furnishes them with a knife, which they immediately lose. Then when the cops unexpectedly show up, they aren’t there to save Tony from a madhouse full of kooky murderers. They are there to kill Tony, too! Mayhem ensues when Tony is “murdered” yet again. Come beat the winter blues and enjoy all the plot twists and hilarious situations in this hysterical farce. |
Based on the music of Queen, We Will Rock You is set 300 years in the future in a futuristic and globally corporate world. Planet Earth has been renamed the Planet Mall and is controlled by the Globalsoft Corporation.
The head of Globalsoft is the sinister Killer Queen, who has banned all non-computer generated music. She has heard of a prophecy that instruments have been hidden somewhere on the planet and that ‘The Dreamer’ will emerge from the people to show the way to them. She orders her Chief of Police, Khashoggi, to get to the bottom of the matter and crush any rebellion. Meanwhile, Galileo, a young student and an outsider, is desperate to “break free” from this corporate world. He hears lyrics in his dreams and is heralded as the star of the prophecy by the Bohemians who have been searching for the lost instruments. To fulfill the prophecy. Galileo must evade the clutches of the Killer Queen and finally bring back the music. With the help of Pop, an aging hippie librarian, Galileo and Scaramouche find Rock's Holy Grail--Brian May's guitar--buried in the remains of Wembley Stadium. |
